Dr Keith Goh is a neurosurgeon who treats adults, especially children, with brain, spinal cord and nerve conditions. He returned to Singapore from Hong Kong where he was Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Prior to this, Dr Goh was the Consultant Neurosurgeon at Singapore General Hospital and Raffles Hospital. Dr Goh is best known for leading an international medical and surgical team that was the first to attempt the separation of adult conjoined twins in 2003. Dr Goh has also led similar surgical teams in separating two other sets of conjoined twins, one set joined at the head (2001) and the other, at the spine (2003). These were the first surgeries on such cases in Singapore, and both had successful outcomes. In addition to the practice of Neurosurgery, Dr Goh has contributed extensively to teaching and research. He has written over 50 published articles and book chapters, involved in continued research with the Chinese University, and taught part-time in the enrolled nursing course at ITE College East, Singapore. In addition, Dr Goh is presently Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Make-A-Wish Foundation (Singapore).
