What must I bring for my first appointment? Please bring along your National Registration Identification Card, Passport, and any other relevant identification documents, preferably one with a photograph affix to it. Please bring all your medical records with you, including any test results, x-ray results, if any. Who will attend to me at the Centre? At the Centre, you will be attended by our Customer Service Officers, who will explain to you the process. What are your fees and payment mode? Our Fees are generally within the guidelines set by the Singapore Medical Association. We accept all the major credit cards and cash. We do not however accept cheques. What is the timing for consultation? We generally seek to allocate a longer consultation with each new patient to fully diagnose and explain the condition to the patient. This is also dependant on the patient's medical condition. We try and keep patients on schedule. However, there may be occasions when Dr See is called away on an emergency. We would oftentimes try to call the patients to keep them informed and to make any necessary changes. What if I need further investigations? Should you require investigations done, blood testing, xray, CT scanning, MRIs are located within medical centre complex. Is your clinic wheelchair accessible? Novena Medical Center and Ambulatory SurgiCare is wheelchair friendly. What do I need to do in preparation for surgery? Should you require surgery, our clinic will make a booking for you. Depending on whether you need admission, you will be directed to on the day of the surgery; you have to be fasted for at least 6 hours. You will need to be admitted at least 1 hour before the surgery start time. This will be given to you by the clinic administrator. For day surgeries, patients are allowed to go home once they are stable. Patients may also opt to stay overnight. How do I claim my insurance? Please bring in all forms to be completed. We will fill them for you as soon as possible.
